Now I will admit I have mixed feelings about establishing routines, mostly because life happens, and we have to be adaptable to that fact. But if we are going to adopt healthy habits, we need to be consistent as well as leave wiggle room for change.
For my morning routine I drink a cup of green tea. Now this may not be at the same time every morning, but it is fit into my morning regime.
I check my emails during my commute to work, so once I get in I am ready to tackle the to-do list.
Turn off electronics 30 minutes before bedtime. Set a timer, if need be, and place remotes and devices in another part of the room.
